Privacy Notice

1. Who we are

Panacomps is a Panama real estate data platform that provides comparable sales and market analysis. Panacomps is responsible for the personal data described in this notice. For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@panacomps.com.

2. Property data from the Public Registry

Our property data comes from Panama's Registro Público, a public-access source. Under Article 8 of Ley 81 de 2019, data from public-access sources may be processed without the data subject's consent.

• Purpose: market price analysis and comparable sales. We use this data only for that purpose.
• What we show: transaction dates and prices, unit details, folio numbers, assessed values, lenders, and lien and foreclosure records.
• What we do not show: the names and ID numbers (cédulas or passports) of individuals (natural persons) are not shown to users, in reports, or through our API. Individuals appear only as "Individual". The only exception is a small number of approved customers who sign a written data-use agreement restricting how they may use this information. Company names are not personal data and may be shown.
• Our subscribers may not use Panacomps data to identify, contact or market to property owners.

3. Data we collect from you

When you register, start a trial, buy a report, subscribe or contact us, we may collect:

• Name, email address and phone number
• Country and professional role (for example, buyer, agent or investor)
• Campaign data (UTM parameters) and basic usage analytics such as pages visited and device type
• Payment details, which are entered on and processed by our payment processor. We do not store your card number.

We use this data to create and manage your account, deliver reports and dashboard access, process payments, respond to requests, send service emails and, where you have not opted out, occasional product updates, and to improve our services.

4. Who processes your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers that help us run the service, under their own security and privacy terms:

• A payment processor, to handle payments
• Website, application and database hosting providers
• An email service provider, to send service and account emails
• A website analytics provider, to measure site usage
• A licensed partner real estate brokerage, only when you ask us to connect you with an agent

Some of these providers store data outside Panama. We may also disclose data when required by law or a competent authority.

5. Your rights (ARCO)

Under Ley 81 de 2019 you have the right to access, rectification, cancellation and opposition (ARCO), and to portability, of your personal data. This includes property owners whose registry data appears in Panacomps.

To exercise these rights, email info@panacomps.com with your name, the right you want to exercise and, for property records, the folio number. We may ask you to verify your identity. We answer access requests within 10 business days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Autoridad Nacional de Transparencia y Acceso a la Información (ANTAI).

6. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting obligations. Registry data is kept for as long as it serves the market analysis purpose described above.

7. Security and breach notification

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections, access controls limited to authorized staff, and providers with recognized security practices. No system is completely secure. If a security incident affects your personal data, we will notify you and the competent authority as required by Panamanian law.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your language, and measure site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be announced on this page.
